Cabin Trip 2006

"wow, this water is cold mom!"

It actually wasn't bad at all once you got in. Laura and I went tubing which was always pretty easy to do and then when you fall off, the water isn't as shocking as slowly walking in from the shore. It was so much fun. I like tubing with Laura because we both like to go fast but we also don't want to break any bones so we only give a little nudge every now and then, no major pushing between us.

This is our new cabin floor, futon, chair, heater, anything else you see...

kitchen table, curtains, etc.

Its always nice having cousins who like to play with your kids. I try not to bank on the fact that they will keep her out of physical trouble but Joshua is getting there.

The funny thing is that I don't remember anything specific that made her face this way, it was just like that the whole weekend.

Gramma Tally cooking away.

Ava likes to pray over her food.

Fixing up the cabin with a ceiling fan. It is so nice to have that!

One of the last pics of Laura before she went off to BJU! (better get that tatoo off the ankle)

Those boys were going to put this on Ava's head and then put one on her butt. They thought I would see her head and laugh and then later find the real damage. I walked in when they were putting this on her (becuase she started crying when they poured water on her face, hmm, can you think of an easier way to get her forehead wet.) anyway...she was crying so i checked on her and they decided to....

put the other tatoo on Connor's butt.

('nice firm buttocks!' for those unfamiliar its from notting hill)

Here is our silly picture, all trying to show our tatoo's. This was one picture I liked having taken, one I didn't like, the family tree picture. Aunt Claudia really lucked out there.

Our cool table. Everyone got to take a pencil and write their name. My mom took a wood burner and burned them all in. (on the table my dad build with some help from Daniel and a few others)

Ava's pants and shorts were just silly to put on sometimes. The dirt she got into was just better placed on a disposable item.

See the filth.

Luke has to pray over seconds, or anytime he gets something new on his plate.

Looks like you've got a little hand-raiser on your hands. Nice. :)
