Ava and Liela: the cabin

So this past week we went to the cabin. It was a great time. I only have one of my memory cards so these are not all the pictures. I will post the rest when I find my camera case and get the other memory card. Until then here is a little bit of our trip.

sleeping with momma....every morning mike would leave for hunting and ava would wake up and ask to get into bed with me. This air mattress was on the floor next to the futon she was sleeping on. I would get my girls into bed and snuggle up...it was nice.
When we first got there, to the cabin I mean, Ava and Mike went into the loft and were playing around on the air mattresses up there. Finally after wrestling around a little bit I heard them settle onto one of the mattresses. Ava let out an, "aahhhh" and then said, "Daddy, this always makes me feel better."

This is Ava's craft project. basically I brought a couple kinds of glue, beads, stickers, misc. crafty things, pencils and markers. We bought a big piece of paper in town and went crazy. She loved it. she would get a bunch of glue on the board and just dump beads on there. She also made bead bracelets which I will have to take pics of b/c I was really impressed that she could thread these things. She loved it.
