A Good Birthday

Ava had a good birthday. She has had a cough since Tuesday, which is sad, and as her birthday went on she showed more and more signs of being sick. Well, it was sad for me but she seemed to still be playful. First thing in the morning we went to Tina's Place for breakfast. Then we took Daddy to work and went to Sams Club. It was still business hours only so the aisles were clear and she ran like crazy. Then we went to Grandma Sanders for some swimming (thanks to uncle paul and aunt elaine's pool) and lunch. She took a really long nap which made it easy for us to stay up late with some Coldstone!

Ava did get into the pool but she liked walking around it and pretending she was really doing something. Gramma Tally stopped by for a while and she did motorboat with Ava which Av loved. She also got into the floating thingy and let Laura take her around for a few minutes. She does like the water, she is just cautious.

So last night Ava wasn't feeling well and she has had a cough at bedtime so I had to stop at CVS for some more medicine. While I was in there (FOREVER) Mike took some pics and Ava was apparently saying "one more daddy?" and posing. Now some of you may think that Ava's big birthday bash and other things that are 'spoiling' to her are me...but no...it's all Mike who creates these things. Here is proof.

Now this was all me...Ava insisted on wearing the Mrs. Potato head glasses this morning. She also asked me to put them on and then said, "now look at the puter" or computer for those who don't speak 2 year old.
