What Ava Thinks

Ava has been pretty confident lately with who's who and what's what...

We went swimming Sunday night at Uncle Paul and Aunt Elaine's. Uncle Paul was in the pool and she kept saying things like, "come over here papa." I guess Uncle Paul and Papa can look similar. She also hasn't seen them for a while.

NEXT...

She was watching Wimbledon tennis with me on Saturday I think...she kept telling me that this guy (gasquet) was my cousin Joshua. She said, "momma look, Joshua playing tennis on TV!" I said, "no, honey that guy just looks a little bit like Joshua." She said, "No it's Joshua...see him momma!" Then the crowd would cheer (for either player) and she would say, "yeah, Joshua!" and clap like crazy. I know it's not a twin, but he sortof resembles Joshua right?

NEXT...

Ava is pretty sure the pictures of me when I was little are her. I know that is probably an easy one to believe but its still cute to hear her say, "look at Ava drinking water."

NEXT...

A few days ago ava was eating bread with her dinner. She took a bite near the edge and the corner ripped off with a big piece of one edge. She said, "Oh, look, a seahorse!" Mike and I didn't even get it at first and then she held it up and said, "right here, a seahorse!" We were cracking up.

NEXT...

Ava had a stick outside and brought it over to me and said, "momma see my stick, it looks like a aligator." The rest of the night she kept bringing it to us...as if it were the first time...and saying, "see my aligator stick." I went outside to look for the stick so I could post a picture of it but I couldn't find it.
