Today is my 25th birthday! I can't believe that at 25 I am married with 2 kids!!! Not only married, but I have the best husband in the world. Not only 2 kids, but the prettiest little girls in the world. I love them all so much.
This morning Mike brought me flowers and Bob Evans Breakfast in bed. The best part of my morning was that Mike got himself breakfast too and ate with me. Thanks to Liela, everyone is afraid to call me too early so my birthday calls didn't start at 5:30am. (that would probably have been my dad thinking he was funny.) Mike and Ava were first. I called Grandma Tally at about 8:00 and then Aunt Claudia called me at about 8:30 or so. So technically she was the first.
FYI: grandma tally and I have the same birthday. I know sometimes she has thought it would bother me to always have to share but for some reason I have never felt that way...even as a little selfish kid. I LOVE IT!!! I always thought I was so cool to share my birthday with her.
Well, here are some pics...
This is from before liela was born but I thought it was hilarious. Ava was trying to feed the fish. I was having a rough day...pregnant and every time I turned around the thing I just cleaned was dumped out or fingerprinted or something. Mike got home from work and got in the shower and I found ava like this, with that huge smile.
One time when we were on my bed Ava was jumping around and getting a little close to liela. I tried to explain to her that Liela was little and we had to be very careful around her. I put her feet up to liela's to show her how tiny her sister is. She loves it now...all the time she want to put their hands together or their feet together or their elbows together...everything. Liela stuck her foot out and Ava just had to try and compare.

Ava was really enjoying her ranch dressing and croutons the other night at dinner.
Well, maybe she was just loving the ranch.
Ava always asks, "can I hold her a little bit?"
On our bed, where we spend all to much time lately.

Heather, I dont know why but this recovery seems so much easier than the first. At this point with Ava I was still falling asleep in the middle of conversations...I guess Liela sleeping through the night th first night home helps. Ava still takes at least a 3 hour nap in the afternoon so I get to too! I am definately taking it easy but feeling good!!!! OR maybe I am wonder woman. =)
