New Shoes!

This morning I was in my bedroom with Ava. We were watching TV and folding laundry, Liela was in her bedroom sleeping. So...I hear a knock at my front door. Ava always thinks it's Daddy, I usually walk carefully to the door so I can pretend I'm not home if I need to. (that would be in the case of any drop in or door to door salesman, which I get a lot of surprisingly) Anyway...I see a figure leaving my porch and get into a skanky white van with tinted windows and no markings of a delivery service whatsoever. It was my stuff from Children's Place! I couldn't believe it didn't come UPS or FEDEX or something like that...but it got here so who cares right. I took the package upstairs and let Ava help me open it. It had a new pair of church shoes for her and she LOVES them. She has had them on ALL day.

I had to take pics even though she has on no pants and her hair looks crazy. (It was still pretty early for us.) At the time I wasn't sure how long she would leave them on.

This picture is of Ava helping me with my puzzle. I started it the day before I went into the hospital to have Liela. I want to finish it and take a picture but with Ava's 'help' I don't know that it will ever be completed. It's worth it though...I get to spend time with just Ava here and there when Liela is sleeping and the puzzle makes her feel like she is really doing something.
