Ava loves touching Liela. She always wants to be next to her. Whatever I tell Ava it is time to do (go to bed, eat, go on a walk, go shopping, whatever) Ava replies, "can I see Liela first?" or "I need to kiss Liela first."
So sweet! Liela is still sleeping at least 6 hours a night...sometimes up to ten...she is a great baby. I can't imagine how tired a new mom is without those hours of rest.

the other day when av was over i told connor to sit on the couch like ava b/c i was trying to just get him to settle down and watch cartoons. he stuck his thumb in his mouth.
then today he was sitting on the couch and he says, "where's baby liela? is she crying? she need my night-night?"
i was cracking up.
heather, I know, ava is a good sis. except that she just passed a little snotty nose to Liela. Her first sickness. It's really not that bad, but it is from Ava. How do you keep them apart!!??
Chris, that is too cute. He will be a good big bro one day. They say boys have a harder time with a new sibling (you know, girls like to pretend they are the mom, so they are cool with it) I think Connor will be good to go though. He's a good boy. Now everyone will be asking you..."oh...are you expecting...I just read on your sisters blog blah blah blah. OH...well I just wondered."
Those are great pics, Nic. I especially like the second one with both of their little fists up by their mouths. Give them a kiss from their favorite Uncle Tim ... but don't catch the sniffles yourself!
I'll kiss them for you...I have already gotten what they have. It's not that bad though...just a sick feeling throught and extra snot...no biggie. =) I am realizing that being a mom means I can't spell anymore...is that how you spell throught? I am so out of writing practice...I seriously structure some of my posts around which words I can't spell.
