the village halloween

We go to Greenfield Village every year with Gramma and Papa for the Halloween walk. I can't believe I have two little girls to take with me. Mike is hunting with my dad at the cabin so it was my Mom and I with the girls. We had a lot of fun and Ava was pretty good about not being scared. The covered bridge was really dark and Austin decided to scare Collin which in turn scared all the rest of the kiddies. Ava got to sleep with me and stay up late to watch TV. Like any girl, she wanted to stay up and talk. She told me about the pumpkins and costumes and every few sentences she threw in, "Austin scared me and I was crying." I say good. She needs to know what it really feels like to be scared so she can stop freaking out at pieces of hair and large sticks.

Getting ready to go. (she didn't put the zebra top on until we got there b/c it was a little puffy in the middle.)

Gotta take the night-night for the ride home.

My little zebra and giraffe

Ready to go in

cozy and cute

"I'm gonna eat candy till I sweat!"

the headless horseman

such a good girl, she slept most of the way

I just love using costumes twice, I feel like I got everything for half of now.

ready to go home

I know it seems random but I got these delivered when mike was gone and when we got home from the village I thought I should take a pic of them. What a nice husband...I didn't even know it was sweetest day until these came.

my girls took over my bed this morning. They were both laying there so cute. I love my girls, they make it a little easier to pass the time when Mike is gone.

getting bigger!

(if you are wondering, it was late and I didn't want to make Ava change her shirt before bed.)
