Ava has been getting sick the last few days and today was sad. She just wanted to sit on the couch and watch TV....then she fell asleep.
SO...yesterday I got Ava some crayons for the tub. I showed her how they worked and left it at that. Sometime between then and this morning she wrote this. Mike said he didn't help her so you tell me...did she write her name? I know if she did it is a mere copy of what I showed her but still! I called her into the bathroom when I saw it and the conversation went like this...
N: Ava what is that?
A: I drew that, its my favorite.
N: what do you mean, what did you draw there?
A: I colored it.
N: What is it that you colored?
A: it says 'ava'
WEIRD!!!
The following pics are from my laundry room. It was some pretty plain wood paneling that was dark and gloomy. I decided that I was going to use the girls bedroom paint one of these days and spruce it up....I finally did. One day last week I just decided to get to it.

Wow! That looks like her name to me!! She's a little smarty. Your laundry room looks very fun and cheery. I'm sure it makes a mundane task a little easier to do! :)
My laundry room is cheery. Ava went in there and said, "oh, mom, this is so cute in here. I'm so glad you have this." Such a phrase copier! I think my laundry has never been kept up for such a long period of time. I love going in there now!
