waiting for sister

(when connor first got to our house this morning...so we could watch him...while chris went to have MEGAN!!!)
Mike: where did your mom and dad go?
Connor: um to the hospital
M: what are they doing?
C: gettin baby megan.
M: where is she?
C: um...i don't know.
M: is she still in mommy's belly?
C:yeah.
M: is she coming out to meet you?
C: yeah...later...maybe later.

(while watching spongebob)
C: they having good times.

(while he was downstairs having a jelly sandwich for breakfast...mike told him he could. I said to wait and auntie nic will make him something good...mike said...i have the jelly out right now...come on buddy. SO they are downstairs right now hanging out for some guy time)
M: are you excited to meet your sister?
C: yeah...and she will cry...and i will say...its ok!...and she will stop and be happy...and she will talk and say I love you...and she will take a nap.
M: wow she will do a lot.
C: yeah...and I will sing to her...oh miss effy was her name...in the west she won her face (and so on)

(8:19 am....just off the phone with nathan)
Nicole: connor baby megan is here!!!!
C: oh, baby megan!?
N:yeah!
(connor runs to the window...just like ava did when I told her macy harrison was born)
N:no buddy not at our house at the hospital.
(realizing that she isn't here and i'm sure thinking...well...i knew she was at the hospital...that's where mom and dad went to pick her up at)
C: oh, I see a squirrel.

(just for funny...he had a giant coloring page rolled up nice and tight and he GENTLY said)
C: baby liela...i am going to hit you with this.
(Look out megan!!!!)
