lots going on

So much has happened in the past few days/weeks....
Mike got his first deer with a bow. I think it was two weeks ago he got a doe. I was so happy for him. He loves to go out and sit in the woods but sometimes it can get annoying to not have a deer to bring home. It's really nice to have the meat too...I made a roast with it and it tasted delish. My dad got a deer the next weekend...actually two. If you know my dad I'm sure if you ask he will tell you the story. If you don't know much about deer hunting, especially deer hunting up north by our cabin where a farmer doesn't bring them all together for you, he did a pretty amazing thing. Two deer in one morning with a bow. Actually within about 10 or 15 minutes of each other.
So that's the hunting portion...

I babysat Connor for my last Monday volleyball practice this week. He was good as always. Ava has a mosquito bite that she will NOT stop scratching. It just becomes a habit so whenever she is just sitting around she puts her hand up there. I put a band aid on it to stop her which works really well b/c she puts her hand up there are feels the band aid and then realizes what she is doing. Of course Connor saw Ava getting one and had to have one too. Both kids started telling me how badly he needed a band aid, amazingly in the same spot as av.

I just love her so much. I remember thinking when I was pregnant with Liela, "how can I love another baby as much as I love Ava?" Don't get me wrong...I never wondered about wanting her or actually thought that after she was born it would be a struggle...I just couldn't imagine another kid being so precious to me.
I had a funny moment the other night when I was in my bedroom with just Liela. I was sitting there making her crack up and I started to think about if and when we had another one. The thought popped into my head, "how could I love another baby as much as I love Liela?" I find it amazing that I really do love both of them so much.

I had to run to Target one day this week and it was raining so I sent them to Aunt Claudia's house. It wasn't for long so I just sent a couple of diapers for Lie and a juice for Ava. Unfortunately Liela decided to have a blowout diaper over there. there just happened to be a sweatshirt of Ava's in her backpack so Aunt Claudia put Liela in it (her shirt and pants were both...um...unusable) This was my little cutie when I went to get her. Sister's sharing already.

happy birthday triplets. Tim and Adrianna's triplets turned two yesterday. I remember when she told us she was pregnant...we were so excited for them but also just praying for three healthy babies. I can't believe how big and strong they are now.
