This past Sunday Mike turned 29 years old. He hates when I write about how sweet he is on our blog. (He seriously is an amazing husband. He is the best dad. He is a hard worker. He comes home at the end of a long day and does laundry...I don't mean there's-no-towels-left-and-he-needs-to-take- a-shower-so-he-does-a-load kind of laundry....I mean there-are-three-dirty-towels-down-there- and-everything-else-is-clean-and-he-will-put-them-in- to-help-me-stay-on-top-of-things kind of laundry. He will unload a dishwasher and reload the dishes in the sink without thinking about it. We will sit at the dinner table and wait b/c Mike is sweeping something up...I mean...who does that...it will still be dirty after we eat. It may sound like I am describing an obsessive compulsive person but I don't think so. He is also such a rebuke to me spiritually. He leads by example which is far from easy when it comes to your relationship with God.)
He is seriously the best husband....as I said...he hates when I write about him....so I will just make this post about MaKenzie's visit.
Joe (Mike's bro #4) and Krissi had a baby in December and we finally got to meet her this weekend. It was a good chance for me to teach Ava the difference between cousins and sisters. Sisters can touch each others stuff and share things. They can give kisses and hold hands. Cousins...especially new baby cousins...can do almost none of these things. So she learned....pretty well too.
MaKenzie was a good new baby. I couldn't believe when I put Liela next to her to take a picture, Liela kept attacking!!!! I can't believe my little baby is so big!!! I forget that she can eve move her arms. It cracked me up that she was so interested in her new little cousin.

Bella or Sophie (I can't remember which) was so cute. She was told to put her arm around MaKenzie but you could tell she knew it was a careful process. She ended up with arms by her side.
